about

Recorded on Sunday October 26th 2015 at Lincoln Hall in Chicago.
100% LIVE. No overdubs. Quite the contrary.

Liner Notes by Michael Roffman, Consequence of Sound

There are miles of memories invested into the music of Polaris. So, when the band booked their Chicago show at the very intimate Lincoln Hall, I knew it would be an emotional night for everyone involved. I had experienced the magic only two years prior at the band's debut performance in Los Angeles. Tears were gonna drop, hearts were gonna burst -- many, many feelings. What unfolded, though, was something even better. Maybe it was the crisp autumn air, or the lingering Halloween spirit around the corner, I really can't say. But that Sunday evening in October turned into one of those nights you never let go. And now, thanks to this recording, we never will.
